Causes of SSL connection error on chrome:

Method 1:-Change the date and time correctly:

This is the most common reason for SSL connection error .To solve You need to open settings and correct date and time in case you are wondering why does this happen because of a mismatch in date and time well reason is While we open websites especially the kind which work on the basis of your date, time and location; a mismatch results in blocking the certification for your system.

Changing the settings for your Antivirus:-

In case you are using https scanning, the SSL connection error is likely to occur on your Chrome browser. To fix this you need to do what is written below:
  1. First close your chrome browser

  4. Click on network.​
  5. Now uncheck the ‘scan encrypted settings’ and ‘encrypted connection scan’.​

  1. Try opening a page with the http:// starting​
  2. You will then be redirected to the Wi-Fi portal​
